Update on fiber in LEE county..

Well everyone Good news for us in Lee county. I called Scott County Telephone Cooperative yesterday Feb 15, 2013 and was told that they were doing preliminary work on the fiber here in Jonesville and they will be completing all areas that Leno LLC did not want to Finnish out over this year and next. I do hope that they can do it a bit sooner here in Saint Charles I would really like to have their service. As for Sunset Digital Communications I really don't know if they will be involved in the finishing out or not.




I do hope the Sunset will be involved but I do see why they would not also. In my opinion SUNSET got crapped on big time LENO LLC should have let Sunset at least bid on their share of the network. I do wish SUNSET all the best and I do hope that they can be the ones that I deal with if/when Saint Charles area gets finished out..

LENO LLC no more!!! LOL

Well everyone I now have an update for you all. LENO LLC is no more. The new owner of this fiber is http://www.sctc.org/ .


Now is as good time as any to call them up and see if they are going to expand this network.

The FTTH for the rest of us...

The fiber network is going full steam ahead over in TN. So now why has it stopped almost completely here in LEE, VA.? Please leave a comment.. Let everyone know what you think?

Facebook page closing....

If you have seen on the companion facebook page that is linked to this blog it will be closed. I did not come to this descession lightly the FB page has helped this blog alot over the few years it has been linked to this blog. But never the less FB has caused a lot of problems in my personal life.

After Facebook

Well it been a few weeks sense I've shut down my Face book account. Now as far as the Fiber optic goes I still have not found out when/who is going to get the Lenowisco LLC. part of the network. But I'm still poking and prodding anyone for information about it. Oh and if anyone is reading this blog I do have a G+ page that auto posts all posts that I do here.
